We had a possum trapped in our toolshed for about a week. It finally got brave enough to attempt an escape but I think Chopper spotted it after it had managed to get about halfway around our backyard fence. I don't know how long the possum had been stuck in this one spot with Chopper beneath him standing guard but it was probably for a few hours. Once we got Chopper away from him he wandered off on his own. He made a big mess on one of the shelves in our shed by tearing up a bag of charcoal. That was fun to clean up.

Here are Abigail and Logan enjoying the warm weather we have been having lately. We are once again trying to get our backyard into shape so I use the outdoor time to do some weedpulling and cleaning up while the kiddos play. Doug built this sandbox when Abigail was about nine months old and she doesn't get to use it as much as she would like because we get attacked by all of the mosquitos in the summer. Maybe this year we can keep them under control!

Here are two of Abigail's classmates Autumn (left) and Eva(right) decorating their cookies.

Abigail's preschool class at St. Paul Christian School had an Easter party. They did some cookie decorating and then hunted for Easter Eggs. We have another Easter Egg hunt this Saturday so I'll probably have more pictures then.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Here are a few pics of Abigail and Logan lounging around and watching cartoons in their pj's on Sunday morning.

Abigail is not to happy about having to compete for Cappy's attention.

This is Logan talking with Grandma Laurie at Abigail's party. Logan loves to talk! Wonder where he gets that from?
This is Logan with his great grandmother, Mama Joy, dressed in her witch costume. The picture was taken last October at Abigail's birthday party.

These pictures aren't new; they are just some that I wanted to post

Welcome to the Thomas family blog

Hello everyone,

I got inspired by my friend Kara Ross who does a blog for their family and updates it constantly while taking care of newborn twins and a 3 and 1/2 year old! So I am going to give it a try. Hopefully, this will also motivate me to take more family pictures.
