We had a very brief rainstorm last night so naturally we grabbed our swimsuits and a popsicle and ran outside.

Abigail did a cheerleading camp at preschool this week. She was so excited about getting to be a "real " cheerleader .

I needed a "family" picture for our dental practice newsletter so Doug snapped a few of me and Abigail. She already had her jammies on but hopefully no one will know that. It's always a challenge to get her to not make goofy faces in pictures but somehow we got cooperation this time.

Sunday morning at the zoo

That is Abigail gettting up close and personal with the gorilla. We went to the zoo just for a couple of hours on Sunday morning. Logan got completely soaked splashing around in the water. Luckily we had an extra outfit in the diaper bag. His shirt says "Crazy!" How appropriate.

Doug got some tickets to a Frisco Roughriders baseball game so we took Abigail on Sunday and had a great time.

Monday (Memorial Day), Abigail and Kayleigh cooled off in the sprinkler.

Abigail and our neighbor Kayleigh earned a couple of bucks taking another neighbor's Chihuahua (Lexie) for a walk. I don't think the dog got much exercise but Abigail is two dollars richer.

This was our second birthday party on Saturday. It was for Marshall (5) and Macie(2). Abigail had a great time playing with her good friend Ainsley and Logan had a great time with her twin brothers, Brody and Finley. That is two-year old Macie with her Mom. Marshall was running around with the bigger boys saw we barely saw him the whole time.

On Saturday we went to a "pony party" to help Macey and Kelly celebrate their birthdays. It was a little too wet to take more than one quick pony ride but the kids still had a great time playing in the rain.

Abigail decided to put on a "dancing" fashion show for me with some of her different dresses. She was singing her own music too. What a multi-tasker!

May 2, 2009 Abigail's first dance Recital

Tonight was Abigail's first "real" dance recital

at the local high school auditorium. She and her friends did a great job. They did one ballet dance and one tap dance.

The reason Logan looks so aghast in the picture of all of us is because I had just snatched his pacifier out.

This morning Abigail and Mom just couldn't resist putting her duck dance costume on Logan.

Saturday April 11, 2009- Skating lessons

Cappy got Abigail a "real" ice skating outfit and she couldn't wait to wear it. I think she was freezing but she couldn't have cared less.

Skylar's pottery painting party

Skylar turned three so we celebrated with her and did some ceramic painting. Logan painted a rocket and Abigail painted a flowered lightswitch cover. That is Skylar in the pigtails.

March 27, 2009: Doug turns 36!

We had a small celebration and Doug finally got a ShamWoW! which he had been hinting at for a while. Now if only I could get him to use it on my car. Hmm.....

Mach 21, 2009 Hannah and Oliver turn 2!

We went to a birthday party for two year old twins. Hannah is in the flowered dress and Oliver is in the blue vest. I don't know how their mother ever manages to get both of them in the same picture and facing the camera.

Haircuts

Abigail and Logan both got haircuts on Tuesday of this week. It was Logan's first haircut which I thought was long overdue. Carole Ann is never speaking to me again for cutting off his baby curls. Logan wasn't too happy about it either as you can see.
